Chase Hamblin

Musician/Singer, Elder Street Artist Lofts

A descendant of one of America’s first Gypsies and the great grandson of a Vaudeville songwriter, Chase Hamblin was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was raised in Italy, France and Singapore. His travels have taken him throughout Europe and Southeast Asia and from coast to coast across the United States. Chase’s music channels many styles and influences from psychedelic folk and Texas swing to super pop and glam rock ‘n’ roll. His lyrics are thoughtful poetic insights into the ills and the thrills of the human experience.

Chase Hamblin's critically-acclaimed debut EP, A Fine Time, was self-released in 2009 and re-released internationally by SteadyBoy Records in 2011. VAUdeVILLE, the full length album recorded with his backing band, The Roustabouts, was released in 2013 culminating in a massive variety show party at Fitzgerald's Houston, chronicled by BluePrint Films in the film short, VAUdeVILLE. Chase Hamblin & The Roustabouts released their swanky take on the Holiday classic "Let It Snow" in December 2014 and followed that up with a new original track, "Way Back" in January 2015.

Chase Hamblin was awarded "Best Male Vocals" and "Best Pop" by the Houston Press Music Awards 2012, "Best Pop" in 2013, and was nominated "Musician of the Year" in 2014.
