Kimmi was born and raised in Spanish Harlem, El Barrio and found her passion for modeling as a young adult after being recruited in the neighborhood by a casting agency for TV/Print/Film. Kimmi has been featured in commercials and print campaigns for various companies over the years.
Her love for visual arts started as a teenager, while attending The Heritage School in El Barrio where she studied visual arts. Over the years Kimmi became engulfed with contemporary art and various forms of mixed media and in 2009 began selling decorative art & handmade designs at various NYC artist markets.
Beginning in 2012 Kimmi began working as Art & Event Coordinator for Reed Space; a boutique and art gallery located in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. At Reed Space Kimmi has curated art shows for various artists from New York City and around the world. Including capsule launches for brands and educational workshops surrounding the arts for creatives of all ages
