National Organizations
- National Endowment for the Arts: www.arts.gov
- The National Endowment for the Arts is a public agency dedicated to supporting excellence in the arts, both new and established; bringing the arts to al Americans; and providing leadership in arts education. Established by Congress in 1965 as an independent agency of the federal government, the Endowment is the nation's largest annual funder of the arts, bringing great art to all 50 states, including rural areas, inner cities, and military bases.

- The Community Arts Network (CAN) is a portal to the field of community arts, providing news, documentation, theoretical writing, communications, research and educational information. - New York Foundation for the Arts: www.nyfa.org
- The New York Foundation for the Arts provides a variety of services for individual artists working in all disciplines. Of particular note are: NYFA Source, which lists over calls for work and other opportunities nationwide; NYFA Classifieds, which has job and event listings, as well as a new pilot program to list artist work spaces in New York City; one of the nation's oldest, most respected and most artist friendly Fiscal Sponsorship Programs; and NYFA Current, an online magazine written by and for artists.

Through grantmaking, coalition-building, and encouragement of strategic policy reform, McKnight uses its resources to attend, unite, and empower those it serves.

- The Bush Foundation improves the quality of life in its geographic region through strengthening organizational, community and individual leadership. Across its grantmaking programs and in a variety of ways, the Foundation has a special interest in creating opportunities for people who may lack them.

Artspace is not a service organization, and this list is not comprehensive, but it reflects Artspace's best efforts to provide information that may be useful to its resident constituents.
