Haley Cramer joined Artspace in 2017. As Manager of National Advancement, she manages the Annual Fund and executes both general operating and project-specific fundraising activities to help build and steward a broader base of corporate and individual support.
Originally from Wisconsin, Haley moved to the Twin Cities to attend the University of Minnesota, where she graduated summa cum laude with a B.M. in Flute Performance. While studying to become an orchestral musician, she fell in love with the community behind the curtain and worked in fundraising at the Walker Art Center, Hennepin Theatre Trust, and Northrop.
Most recently, Haley graduated from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs with a Master of Public Policy in Nonprofit Leadership and Management. During her time at the Humphrey, Haley stumbled upon the unique intersection of the arts, nonprofit work, and economic development. After studying in-depth how cultural and economic barriers prevent artists from thriving, she was more than thrilled to discover that an organization like Artspace exists. She considers herself incredibly fortunate to be able to serve artistic communities across the United States.
Haley sees curiosity and empathy as her strongest assets and is always on the look-out for new experiences and meaningful connections. When she is not at Artspace, you can find Haley exploring the local art scene, attending concerts, checking out new breweries, roaming festivals, dogsitting for her coworkers, or playing her flute in the Encore Wind Ensemble.
