Jacqueline Romano

After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communications Design & Technology at Parsons the New School for Design and completing internships at global branding company, Bridger Conway, and at Goldcrest Post production house in New York City. Jacqueline moved to Los Angeles (L.A.) for a change of scenery and to dare to start her career in the “Entertainment Capital of the World”. While in L.A., Jacqueline acquired a position as a catalog photographer at the largest style house in Downtown L.A., Chic Little Devil Style House, as well as a brief position as an assistant to Special Effects Make-up Artist, Laci Hill, on the independent film set of Sushi Girl.

Make-up Artistry is another passion of Ms. Romano’s and is another outlet for her creativity. As a Production Office Assistant/On-Set Production Assistant for Tio Papi in New York City, she often snuck into the make-up room, where she learned Broadcast Television and Film Make-up Artistry from the well known, M. Shane Alsondo.  After wrapping Tio Papi, Jacqueline came back to her home town in South Florida and began freelancing; taking positions creating opening-logo animations for independent film companies, branding start-up companies, photographing portraits and events, retouching photographs and starting her side project, ten23.

Currently, Jacqueline is freelancing as Photo Editor for Getty Images, Video Editor for Blackwood Productions, Art Director for Blindfold Magazine and doing photography and graphic design for many other wonderful companies. Ms. Romano is honored to have been chosen as an awardee at the 2015 Artspace Breaking Ground Celebration.
