Sylvia Roldán Dohi is an actor, singer, producer and dancer who has appeared with a diverse range of recording stars and performers, including such legends as Alice Cooper, Clarence Clemons and Charo.
After performing in national tours and regional productions of various shows, including, Cats, West Side Story, The King and I, and A Courus Line (including a Spanish-language production in Spain), Sylvia was cast in the original Broadway Company of Miss Saigon, and did the entire ten-year run of the show. Temporarily sidelined by a series of dancer injuries, she bounced back to play the Roller Derby Queen in the off-Broadway production of Roller Derby: the Musical, and has been skating around Manhattan ever since.
She has performed Shakespeare, Shepard and MTV, and as a bilingual voice-over artist she has been featured on cartoons and ad campaigns. The New York Newspaper EL DIARIO has honored her as an "Outstanding Woman of Hispanic Heritage", and the United Way selected her to be both the singer and spokesperson for their Asian/American campaign.
