Agitator is a Chicago-based co-operative that seeks to promote and engage significant art, including art made by conventionally overlooked artists. Agitator also serves as a community hub that unites people from a wide range of backgrounds. Members of Agitator are diverse artist-curators with various racial, socioeconomic, gender, and sexual identities. 

At our previous location, Agitator rapidly developed into a vibrant, multifaceted arts organization. When the Pandemic hit, we were already outgrowing our space. 

Through Artspace Immersion, Agitator seeks to develop our networks and our fundraising strategies. We ultimately hope to find a space where we can host arts program, ensure a sustainable income, and meet our expanding vision of a more inclusive arts community.
