Artspace Immersion: New Orleans (2023-24)

Helping turn big ideas into achievable plans

Artspace Immersion is a capacity-building program designed for nonprofits and creative businesses that are in the planning stages for a space-related project by helping them navigate the real estate process.

In addition to working on their dreams for space, they are also immersed in a learning community to practice storytelling, build partnerships, and connect their work with broader discussions of community development and spatial equity. Artspace’s goal is to support organizations that serve historically underserved or marginalized communities and support groups as they strive to create their own equitable spaces. In March 2023, Artspace welcomed 10 creative organizations from New Orleans into the year-long program.
