An Introduction to Artspace Immersion: Detroit

14600 Mack Ave Detroit, MI, 48215

Consider this: you’re a small arts or cultural nonprofit with a strong vision and a knack for programming. But you’re seeing the need to evolve, in or out of your current space.

Sound like your organization?

That’s where Artspace Immersion comes in – to help turn your big ideas into achievable plans! Join us for an informal workshop where you’ll begin your capacity-building journey and learn how to apply for a spot in this FREE cohort program. Artspace Immersion is a capacity-building program for arts and cultural organizations planning for new space. With a cohort-based approach, Immersion empowers arts leaders to make informed decisions about space. By participating in the cohort, organizations receive expert guidance, local connections, and a learning community to help them navigate the real estate process. Included in the program package is an all-expenses paid learning tour to Minneapolis where the cohort will meet like-minded leaders and visit their inspiring creative spaces. A $5,000 project-planning stipend is provided to each participating organization at the conclusion of the program. There are three on-site Artspace Immersion: Detroit and one remote livestream event. Please check out our full events for details. This introductory event is at the Detroit Artists Test Lab (DATL), 7:00 - 8:30pm
